A unit of work about plant biology for Grades 3 to 6

In this exciting program, your students will learn about photosynthesis, water transport and discover the wonders of plant biology in a variety of engaging and interactive ways. With hands-on experiments & student projects, your students will develop a deep understanding of the complex systems that allow plants to thrive and grow. 

Following this 28 minute video & student activities, a student will know:
 
- the parts of a flower
- how photosynthesis works
- how water is transported from the roots to the leaves
- how different tubes work for transporting water and sugars through the plant
